Welcome to the main page for PHOENIX, A Minecraft Server. The server seed is -2143500864.

PHOENIX runs on 4 threads of a 5950X, with 8GB of ram and an SSD. The OS of choice is Linux Mint 20.3, and monitoring is (somewhat) provided by netdata with some user-written scripts for automated backups and virus scans. The server shuts down for 5 minutes at noon every day to run the backup and any maintenance tasks.

The server is currently on version 1.20

Server History:

2018-09-08: Server first started, running 1.12 on a Raspberry Pi. Original Seed: 5193191723727084821?
2019-04-06: Server available on ZeroTier, meaning it is available anywhere in the world.
2019-01-19: Upgrade to 1.13 Oceans!
2019-05-11: Server has a Facebook group chat: The Crafters in the Mine
2019-05-24: Upgraded the server RAM! Should now be able to host more players.
2019-08-30: Updated to 1.14! Yay villagers!
20??-??-??: Upgrade to 1.15 Bees!
2020-03-19: New world, seed -2143500864.
2020-03-24: The server gets a Discord Server! See note below to join!
2020-07-11: Updated to 1.16, the entire Nether was wiped to allow the new biomes to generate!
2020-12-11: Server gets cross-play! You should be able to connect to the same IP with Bedrock as well as Java
2021-06-29: Updated to 1.17, regenerated & expanded the Overworld
2021-11-20: Server hardware updated, it now runs on a few cores of a 5950X and off a m.2 SSD
2022-01-08: Updated to 1.18, most of the Overworld was regenerated to allow for new terrain generation!
2022-06-24: Updated to 1.19, much of the Overworld regenerated to allow for Deep Dark spawning!
2024-01-07: Updated to 1.20
